Yes yes folks, as of yesterday the Dutch National Lacrosse League (DNLL) has started! Along with the start of the DNLL, a milestone is reached in Dutch lacrosse history because the first official and dedicated lacrosse field for both men and women is opened! And, the Devils had the privilege of playing on this field in their first competition match!

The Devils men team are participating in the black league, the latter of two leagues. Our first match was against Rotterdam 2, who were putting up quite some resistance and proved to be a good opponent. The Devils were fighting their way through the flames and the fire and came out victorious! In an epic match we gained the lead quite early and increased the lead, but the Jaguars were trailing right behind us. In the end we won by 4 - 3.

Our thanks goes out to the great support of the Devilish girls who were cheering us on! The girls had their match against the lady Jags after the mens match, so the Devils men stayed to cheer for them. Even though we did our best, the ladies lost to the lady Jags.

Overall a very exciting day for all of us and a good start of the season for the men!
